Ambush Maternity Session

This is what happens when you throw random strangers in with a group of photographers out playing in Savannah.  While at the park we spied this very cute young couple hanging out just enjoying a beautiful quiet Saturday. They are expecting their first child December 6th......can you believe how tiny she is!!  She was so pretty and looked great.......and you know how I love the "belly".  How could I resist?? I hope they don't mind that am sharing their photos.  I think they are BEAUTIFUL....you can see the love.  I wish them all the blessings in the world......m

Photographers Playdate!

What happens when you get five photographer's together.  Throw in a few cute models.....some random strangers...and let them loose on the city of Savannah???  Lots of FUN!!!!  My friend and fellow photographer Andrea Hillis and myself got together with some GREAT photographer's from Charleston and Orlando (Hey! Guys!).  We share tricks of the trade and just had a great time. Thanks to Andrea for inviting me.  Thanks to our models for being such good sports and thanks to all the other photographers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to  travel to Savannah and play.  I look forwarded to our next outing in Charleston.  I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!!

Coastal Family Cover!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!!!  I have the cover photograph for Coastal Family Magazine this month!!  The super cute Miss Emma is the covergirl!  We had a blast shooting the cover.  I will have to try and scan the actual cover so you can see what it looks like with the type all over it.

Love Reunited!!!

I have to say that the photos in this post are pretty poor quality.  However, there is so much emotion behind these photos that I can't even describe.  On October 29th 2007 at 3:00 a.m. my husband came home after a year long deployment to Iraq.  Yes, I did say 3:00 a.m.....but HEY!, he is home and we are a family once again.  I had planned to have a friend also a photographer to go out there with us to pick him up..but I couldn't do that to a friend.  Not only was it super early I left our house a little after 2:00 a.m. It was also cold and windy.  I was so racked with all types of emotions that I could hardly work the camera.  Notice I forgot to take photos after he was back safely in our arms....lol! 

I love this photo of my daughter....you can just see the pure joy in her face and body language.  

My youngest daughter wasn't really sure what was going on.  All she knew was she was sleepy and a little cold.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes....I'm sure you have heard it before.

"Land of the free because of the brave."

Go out and hug or just thank a soldier today......m

My Little Pumpkins

My kids LOVE Halloween!!! Probably due to the fact that both my husband and I love Halloween.  What's not to love..........you get to dress up in costumes, people give you candy and then you get to eat as much candy as you can that night.....before your mother and father put it in the freezer.  Where it is then thrown away to make room for the Easter candy that ends up in the freezer.  Oh, did I mention my son got ten pounds of candy.  Yep, he weighed his bag when he got home.....crazy!  But they had a blast!

My son was a punk rock zombie.  My daughter was a mermaid and the baby was a little ghost. I tried to paint a little face on my youngest, but she wanted no part of it.  Oh, well!

Halloween was made even more special for us this year because Daddy came back from Iraq....for good!!!  This time last year we were a little sad.  Dad had just left for his second year long deployment to Iraq.....but this year pure JOY!!!!
